Blending for reading

• CCVC and CVCC words: 14 pictures with words
• Reading practice: Contains words from Phase 2, 3, and 4, organised into letter sets and graphemes.
• Reading two syllable words: 10 two syllable words, with pictures and sound buttons.
• Adjacent consonants word list: 159 words, organised alphabetically.
• Phase 4 Buried treasure - Smartboard file.

Segmenting for spelling  - the PowerPoint files are in a look (or say)-cover-check format, so the children can use whilst spelling on their whiteboards, and can check if they have spelt the word correctly. The words are covered up by pictures of the word.

• Writing CVCC words: 15 words, using sets 1-7 letters and Phase 3 graphemes
• Writing CCVC and CCVC words: 38 words; split into words from 1-7 letter sets, and Phase 3 graphemes.
• Writing CCVCC, CCCVC, and CCCVCC words: 23 words using letters and Phase 3 graphemes.
